Ever dream of finding your true purpose? Do you have this feeling that there is something you are supposed to be doing in life? Feel like there is a specific purpose or calling or passion that you are MEANT to pursue. Do you see others having their dreams come true? They have this THING they are doing and are MEANT to do? Ever ask yourself where is MY true purpose? Can’t seem to find it? Keep reading because I have good news for you.
Every single person on Earth wants to find their Purpose or true calling. You have probably even asked yourself “what is this thing I am meant to DO.” And you have been waiting to find this special passion or true purpose or PATH to follow and it has not happened. And now you are wondering if you even have one at all. I know that you DO. And I know why you have not found it yet. And it is probably no fault of your own!
Every single person has a True Purpose in this world
At some point in life you have probably searched for an answer to these questions: “What am I supposed to be DOING?” and “What is my purpose?” I have good news as to WHY you don’t know yours yet.. And YES, it is good news. First things first, for those of you who don’t know True Purpose is that thing you are “supposed to be” or “meant to be” doing. You know the thing I mean. Some of your friends might have already found theirs. If you know someone who has a deep passion or calling then they have likely found theirs. In order for me to tell you the reason WHY you have not found yours yet I need to give some examples and analogies.
History is FULL of people who have found their True Purpose. Einstein is a great example. The former patent clerk just turned out to be a physics genius and came up with the theory of relativity that changed science forever. He had a natural innate talent. It became something that changed the world because he LOVED to do it and pursued it with pleasure and dedication of someone who LOVES it. The emotion passion is very strong and is closely tied to Purpose.

Another example is Beyonce. Beyonce KNEW from childhood what she wanted: to be a singer, an entertainer. Beyonce pursued it, practiced, focused since youth on this specific DREAM and it all happened for her. She put so much effort towards it and it was rewarded. But she already KNEW the end plan she was working towards. Not all of us DO. She too had a natural talent and focused on it, practiced. Dedicated her life to it.
And let’s get real, most of us are NOT the Einstein’s or Beyonce’s of the World. Nor are we TRYING to be. But we still want to find that THING that we are meant for. We look for our passion, that special thing that leads us to riches or helps change the world. Because when someone finds their True Purpose and pursues it with the emotion of PASSION, they tend to change the world. Even if it changes in ways they do not understand. The world IS changed. But more than that, the PERSON is fulfilled. BUt when you apply passion the world tends to supply purpose back. You MUST be willing to do this for your passion to evolve.
True Callings are linked to fulfillment
That is because True Purpose is linked to fulfillment and a life worth living. It gives you GOALS. Goals are important for making life move forward, making people move forward. So what is this GOOD NEWS I have for you. For many of us life goes by and we wonder “what should I be doing with myself?” The good news is there is a REASON you have not found yours yet and it is a BIG ONE. A certain event in time has not passed yet to ENABLE your purpose to begin.
Think about it. In any story where someone becomes a Hero (the hero’s journey), some event happens that STARTS the journey. Here is an example. Let’s say someone becomes the leader of the remaining humans in a zombie apocalypse and it is an epic tale! They lead the last of humanity to safety and destroy all the zombies. Perhaps they were a secretary before that and hated the job. Life was dismal. Their true purpose began once the world went crazy. Whatever their story, the apocalypse had to occur before they could find their destiny leading mankind.
Your time is coming. Be prepared to act.
Consider the tale of King Arthur. HIs story really begins once he pulls the sword Excalibur from the stone. THAT is when he becomes King and his true tale begins. BUt there was a life before that. And that part was NOTHING compared to what happened after he pulled the sword from the stone.
Those are fictional examples of course. I want to give a REAL example. I want to tell you what happened to ME in regard to my own passions. MY story is how I know that you will find your True Purpose. In my 20’s I was unsure of my direction in life. I was just working and unhappy. Even though I found plenty of ways to entertain myself I knew there was something I was MEANT to do. I knew my creative mind was going to waste, that all the things I wanted to say and share could not be shared. I knew there had to be SOMETHING out there for me.

This continued on and on until probably 2011-12. The internet was no longer a niche thing. And like everyone else I was on it for fun but things were changing. Because so many people were now online, MORE options for easy expression came into play. You could not only make a video, you could upload it on your own youtube channel. You could easily make websites without knowing how to code. Even a few years before that was not possible. There were more and easier ways to be CREATIVE being offered. More ways to interact and meet people. Soon I began finding my passion because of so many TOOLS that were now available to me. Finally I was finding my way.
After a while I became well known in a small corner of the online world and it enabled my career of choice. The work made me feel Artistically fulfilled. I was now someone who was inspiring others to follow in my shoes. I was living in my passion. And over time it occurred to me. I could never have done that work, the things I loved, when I was in my 20’s. The tools literally didn’t exist.
The world is constantly changing and new things come into view suddenly.
Think about it. If your passion and True Purpose is to become a youtuber who brings hope to others…how can you do that before youtube is even invented? You cannot. You literally could not fulfill that passion before 2008-ish. Or before it became big enough for your material to be of interest. The technology involved in your true passion might not exist yet. It is possible your own thing, your YouTube, just does not exist yet. But it is coming!
BUt remember it does not have to BE about technology. My own example required a certain point in time passing. Part of that included the technology and apps involved in the internet of today. For you it could be that a certain historical event must occur and has not yet. Maybe you must meet someone first who inspires you towards your True Passion. There are many variables that might need to come into play before your True Purpose makes itself known to you.
Do NOT be discouraged. Be READY!
So DON’T be discouraged. Keep moving ahead because THAT is how you get there. Practice good works and self improve if possible to “stay ready” for it (just like how you would work out before undertaking anything physical). Do not ever feel bad you have not found your “thing” yet. Just because you have not doesn’t mean you will not. Don’t worry, it is coming for you. However it might not look like what you thought at first. It is but a seed and YOU must grow it. Be receptive towards your True Purpose since it might not appear as such at first. All good things take time and YOU have good things to offer this world. Stay ready, they’re coming! You are the hero on a journey, we all are. Your journey will give you purpose, destiny, a calling. Be ready for it. It might be years away, it might be tomorrow.
