Stimulation meditation is the process of using stimuli such as music or video as the way to raise vibration, align with the universe, even gain Divine Insights. One of the first ways most people are taught to align with the universe is via mediation. They are taught the best way to gain insight is thru the process of some form of quiet meditation. Meditation is NOT the only way to tap into the Divine Current and for many people isn’t even the best way to achieve that.
If you are one of the millions of people for whom traditional meditation doesn’t always work feel natural then read on. Part of the reason you might not be able to focus and quieten the mind via meditation is because you might have the type of mind that doesn’t respond BEST to this. Some of us THRIVE best when there is stimulation. Were you the kind of person who needed the TV on to be able to focus and do your homework (and still somehow managed to get great grades doing it?) You might benefit from stimulation meditation.
For millions of people traditional quiet meditation never feels right
Ever been to a RAVE? Not just a nightclub, but a rave where the UNITY of people there with one like mind, tapped into the beat, and you can FEEL the vibration rise? That is an example of it in a group setting. But the BEAT of the music provides a sort of template for tapping into Consciousness. The rest happens because of groupmind and dancing energy.
Your emotions are KEY in setting intent and manifesting reality change. Different emotional states can play into how the law of attraction works for you. Keeping that in mind, ever notice what strong emotions music of film can bring out in you? What if you could select the emotional states you wanted to trigger and use them to manifest and attract things that you want. This is a key component in how SM is triggered.
Emotional states are springboards for reality change
In order to experience SM it is best to have a constant source of media playing like white noise. The difference is that you FOCUS on the source of the stimulation. It is best to use something repetitive or your fave media repeating. This helps “loop” your emotions so you can use them to attract things. Be sure to put on something that gives you emotions that mirror the effects you want to manifest. A song that makes you feel gratitude helps manifest things for which you would be grateful. A song that makes you feel romantic can bring romance.
Choose your SM stimuli carefully for best emotional repsonse
However I must warn you to be very careful of what emotions you are ACTUALLY inspiring. It is possible that you play a song that you THINK makes you feel romantic. But what feeling you actually inspire in yourself is one of LONGING for that romance. This feeling can only help you manifest MORE longing. So if you choose to use media that makes you FEEL a certain way be very deliberate in your choices.
You need these emotions to “well up” in you so that you can zone out and RIDE them. This riding of emotions is how you eventually begin to meditate. The thing you were focusing on so hard (the media) fades into the background and you are set to do your BEST visualizing. Of course you can ALSO use media that simply helps you focus rather than produce specific emotions. This is another path to experience SM.
There are 2 main SM paths, emotional or baseline styles.
This second path still makes use of sound or video as a way to “zone out” and get into a meditative state. However this path is less about inspiring emotion and more about inspiring thought space. You then use this thought space to tap into the divine current like tuning your mind to a radio station. This is for the more advanced SM-er’s. It does not require emotional states necessarily and is for making a “baseline” for the mind before visualizing.
Simply KNOW you can reach higher consciousness in many different ways. And quiet does not always have to be the way even though it is a good one. Some of us are just not MEANT to be able to tap in through quiet.
Baseline SM uses droning stimulus as the tool for tapping into the Divine Current
If quiet meditation just puts you to sleep or bores you then SM could be for you. It is possible that you require extra stimuli to “tap in” to higher consciousness.
